In June 2006 ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) spyridona announced an icon contest over at ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) marvel_slash in order to accomplish the following: 1) score a new icon for the community and 2) recall the good old days when Tony Stark and Steve Rogers remembered how much they loved each other. Well, I can't make icons to save my life, but I can draw, so I came up with this Captain America/Iron Man artwork as a tribute to the way things were and the way things could still be again. This one's worksafe.

We all know David Haller aka Legion aka Professor Charles Xavier's son is a total nut, with multiple personalities with multiple mutant powers, but did you know that he'd be mad enough to want to get it on with said personalities or, worse yet, that I'd be crazy enough to draw it?!?

spyridona once wrote a Bruce Banner/Walt Langowski slash drabble in the_pen_calls. I was instantly smitten by the inspired pairing and promised a fan drawing to go with it. I'm almost ashamed to say how long I've been sitting on this one (I'm a slacker okay!) but when I heard Spyr was down I knew the time was right to post it (although admittedly, even that was some time ago!).

Remember these two guys? Remember how often they were at each other's throats? Doug always accusing Bobby of hot-headedness, Bobby always picking on Doug's supposed weakness and redundancy? Well, my sources tell me that it wasn't all hostility and tension. In fact, on those slow, summer afternoons after a tough workout in the Danger Room, chances are there were more than a few ( moments like this. )
