In June 2006 spyridona announced an icon contest over at marvel_slash in order to accomplish the following: 1) score a new icon for the community and 2) recall the good old days when Tony Stark and Steve Rogers remembered how much they loved each other. Well, I can't make icons to save my life, but I can draw, so I came up with this Captain America/Iron Man artwork as a tribute to the way things were and the way things could still be again. This one's worksafe.

There were no missions planned for tomorrow, no training sessions. Cable had given them the whole day off. In any case, it felt such a long way away as they had a whole night of rest before them.

Rictor climbed into his side of the bed and draped the smooth sheet over his lower half, the edge just coming up to his bare belly. He propped his head up with his gathered pillow and his left arm folded behind his head. Shatterstar was still sitting on the rim of the mattress, his broad back facing Rictor. So I was flicking through a collection of old postcards and photos sent to me from some old friends and I came across something I thought you'd all get a kick out of seeing.
